Supernova and Pulsar notes
- I2C and SPI target mode need firmware 4.5.0 or later. See Updating Firmware.
- RS-485 and CAN-FD are modes of the adapter’s USB serial (CDC) port, available from firmware 4.4.0. Select the mode with CosmicSDK or PyCosmicSDK (
Device.set_usb_config()); the adapter resets and the setting persists across power cycles. Then open the serial port in a separate tool: CAN-FD uses the SLCAN protocol. - What each adapter supports from software: PyCosmicSDK and CosmicSDK.
