Transfers above 1024 bytes and the target roles need firmware 4.5.0 or later on the Supernova and the Pulsar. Above 1024 bytes, the payload moves over a second USB interface; PyCosmicSDK and CosmicSDK use it automatically. SPI target mode is not available on Supernova hardware revision B.
On the Pulsar, RS-485 and CAN-FD run through the adapter’s USB serial port: switch it to RS-485 or CAN-FD (SLCAN) mode, then use a serial terminal or an SLCAN tool. Mission Control 3 and the SDKs do not send RS-485 or CAN-FD traffic. The Pulsar’s 1-Wire is available in Nova compatibility mode (firmware 4.4.0 and later) through the Nova text commands. See the Pulsar user guide.
