CMIS 5.x Protocol Analyzer Plugin

The CMIS Protocol Analyzer Plugin in Saleae Logic.
The CMIS Protocol Analyzer Plugin is a register-level decoder for Saleae Logic 2. It decodes CMIS management traffic on pluggable optical modules and tracks page and bank state across transactions, so a raw byte maps to a named register field.

What it decodes
Section titled “What it decodes”- CMIS over its two management transports: I2CMCI (I2C) and SPIMCI (SPI). The transport decode is built in, so no extra analyzer is needed.
- CMIS revisions 5.2, 5.3 and 5.4, chosen with a revision selector.
- Page and bank state, carried across transactions.
- A searchable data table, by page, byte and field.
- Bus errors, partial frames, over-length accesses and out-of-model accesses, flagged in place.
- A simulation mode for each transport.
- Automation, with the Logic 2 Automation API and Python example scripts.
