PIC18-Q20 CNano Breakout

PIC18-Q20 CNano Breakout.
The PIC18F16Q20 Curiosity Nano I3C Target Demo Board is a breakout for Microchip’s PIC18F16Q20 Curiosity Nano evaluation board. It complements Microchip’s I3C Multi-Protocol Translator example project and demonstrates an I3C target on an 8-bit PIC microcontroller.
The PIC18F16Q20 is a target only, so a Binho Supernova is required as the I3C controller.

What is on the board
Section titled “What is on the board”- Headers: all pins are on standard 2.54 mm headers.
- Logic analyzer headers: on the I3C SCL and SDA signals.
- External connections: for I2C target devices and a UART interface.
- SPI flash: a W25Q64JV (64 Mbit) for the I3C-to-SPI translation demos.
- Potentiometer: a rotary potentiometer for analog readings.
- LEDs: for the I3C GPIO expander demo.
Connect it
Section titled “Connect it”- Fit the PIC18F16Q20 Curiosity Nano on the board.
- Connect the board’s I3C bus to the Supernova’s I3C port.
- Load Microchip’s example project from the product page. It sets up the I3C target on the PIC.
- Open the Supernova in Mission Control 3 or PyCosmicSDK and scan the I3C bus.
